Meet Clio, the woman behind Devoted to Disco.
London-born and Sydney-based, Clio is the disco-diva alter ego of recording artist Danielle Bellas. Inspired by icons like Donna Summer and Diana Ross, she’s been steadily carving out a space as a modern disco voice, blending her classic influences with a contemporary pop flair.

Her singles - including Deeper in My Love, We Got Music, and Golden Glow - have lit up the ARIA Club Charts and dance floors from Sydney to Ibiza. She’s also the resident diva at I Remember House and Club Broadway, two hugely popular nightclub events run by Dan Murphy, where she gets to express different sides of herself and her musical tastes.

Clio brings a vibrant energy to everything she does, championing inclusivity, self-expression, and joy. Now she’s channeling that same energy into Devoted to Disco, creating a space where everyone can shine and embrace the freedom to be fabulous!

Q&A with Clio
​​Clio, why are you Devoted to Disco?
Disco grabbed me from a young age - it's so fun, joyful, and uplifting! As I grew older and learned more about its history, I fell in love all over again - disco is so much more than music. It was an incredible movement, a freedom of expression outside of popular culture. Disco celebrated life, diversity, and liberation, bringing people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders and sexualities together. And of course, the fashion and iconic figures of the era are endlessly inspiring!

Now, through my music and events, I get to honour that legacy while creating my own space for people to sparkle and feel fabulous. I want everyone to feel welcome, celebrated, and unapologetically themselves.

What is your favourite disco song?
It's so hard to pick one... but I will say that Thelma Houston -"Don't Leave Me This Way" and Diana Ross -"The Boss" are consistently at the top of my list!
